"Elaine Ladd has been a volunteer Pharmacist at the Garden City Community Clinic since 2007. During that time, she has worked very hard to achieve great results for our lower income, uninsured patients. In 2008, she developed a specialized intense diabetes management clinic.
The purpose and goal of the clinic is to support and manage those patients with inadequate control of their diabetes. Patients will improve adherence and blood glucose control through education, medication dose titration, and evaluation of adverse medication effects. Already we've seen tremendous results with our patient population in this program.
We are excited to see all that Dr. Ladd will bring to the community as she opens her new pharmacy."
